Surah An-Nas

سُورَةُ النَّاسِ

Surah An-Nas is the 114th surah of the Quran. Its name means “Mankind”. It is a meccan surah of 6 verses, opening in juz 30 on page 604 of the mushaf. Below is the full Arabic text in Uthmani script with an English translation for every verse.

سُورَةُ النَّاسِ

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ١ مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ٢ إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ٣ مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ٤ ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ٥ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ٦

Translation, verse by verse
  1. 114:1

    Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

  2. 114:2

    The Sovereign of mankind.

  3. 114:3

    The God of mankind,

  4. 114:4

    From the evil of the retreating whisperer -

  5. 114:5

    Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -

  6. 114:6

    From among the jinn and mankind."
