Surah Al-Falaq

سُورَةُ الفَلَقِ

Surah Al-Falaq is the 113th surah of the Quran. Its name means “The Dawn”. It is a meccan surah of 5 verses, opening in juz 30 on page 604 of the mushaf. Below is the full Arabic text in Uthmani script with an English translation for every verse.

سُورَةُ الفَلَقِ

Al-Falaq · Meccan · 5 ayahs

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ١ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ٢ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ٣ وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ٤ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ٥

  1. 113:1

    Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

  2. 113:2

    From the evil of that which He created

  3. 113:3

    And from the evil of darkness when it settles

  4. 113:4

    And from the evil of the blowers in knots

  5. 113:5

    And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
