سُورَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ — continued
مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ١٥٤ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ١٥٥ أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَٰنٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ١٥٦ فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ١٥٧ وَجَعَلُوا۟ بَيْنَهُۥ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًۭا ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ ٱلْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ١٥٨ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ١٥٩ إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ١٦٠ فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ١٦١ مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ١٦٢ إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ١٦٣ وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ١٦٤ وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ١٦٥ وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ١٦٦ وَإِن كَانُوا۟ لَيَقُولُونَ١٦٧ لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ١٦٨ لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ١٦٩ فَكَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ١٧٠ وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٧١ إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ١٧٢ وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ١٧٣ فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ١٧٤ وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ١٧٥ أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ١٧٦ فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ١٧٧ وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ١٧٨ وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ١٧٩ سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ١٨٠ وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٨١ وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ١٨٢

﴿ ٤٥٢ ﴾

Translation, verse by verse
  1. 37:154

    What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement?

  2. 37:155

    Then will you not be reminded?

  3. 37:156

    Or do you have a clear authority?

  4. 37:157

    Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful.

  5. 37:158

    And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment].

  6. 37:159

    Exalted is Allah above what they describe,

  7. 37:160

    Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin].

  8. 37:161

    So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship,

  9. 37:162

    You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him

  10. 37:163

    Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire.

  11. 37:164

    [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position.

  12. 37:165

    And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer].

  13. 37:166

    And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah."

  14. 37:167

    And indeed, the disbelievers used to say,

  15. 37:168

    "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples,

  16. 37:169

    We would have been the chosen servants of Allah."

  17. 37:170

    But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know.

  18. 37:171

    And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers,

  19. 37:172

    [That] indeed, they would be those given victory

  20. 37:173

    And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome.

  21. 37:174

    So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time.

  22. 37:175

    And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see.

  23. 37:176

    Then for Our punishment are they impatient?

  24. 37:177

    But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned.

  25. 37:178

    And leave them for a time.

  26. 37:179

    And see, for they are going to see.

  27. 37:180

    Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe.

  28. 37:181

    And peace upon the messengers.

  29. 37:182

    And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
